Upstate Agency Appoints Cassella as Employee Benefits Practice Leader

SOUTH GLENS FALLS, N.Y. (November 21, 2025) — Upstate Agency, LLC, part of the Arrow Family of Companies, recently welcomed Augie Cassella as Vice President, Employee Benefits Practice Leader.

In his new role, Cassella will support the Employee Benefits account managers with a focus on the service and retention of the agency’s existing customer base. He will also provide support to producers in prospecting and securing new business opportunities.

Cassella brings more than 25 years of insurance industry experience to his new role. Most recently, he served as operations manager at USI Insurance for 17 years. Prior to that, Cassella was an assistant vice president at Rose & Kiernan Insurance and Albany Health Associates.

A native of Smithtown, N.Y., and current resident of Valley Falls, N.Y., Cassella earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from Fredonia State College.
